The typical banana muffin and chocolate chip cookie have united!
1 1/2 cup flour
dash of salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup (unsalted) butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
dash of vanilla
1 ripe banana
1 cup oats
1 cup (dark) chocolate chips
~1/2 cup walnuts
- In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and soda.
- In another bowl, use an electric mixer to whisk butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and whisk.
- In a small bowl, mash banana and add to batter. Fold dry mixture into the batter as well. Mix in oats, chocolate chips, and coarsely chopped walnuts.
- Scoop dough into ~2 in. size balls and place on a greased cookie sheet pan ~2 in. apart. (These cookies do not expand much while baking).
375F, bake for 11 minutes, ~26 cookies.
Reheat for 20 secs.
